I love the random avenues in life, which seem to cross others’ in due time over and over. I came across Karmin today…and I was watching the above video play out and pondered how I knew the guy. Looking them up, I realize it’s this guy Nick, who I know from playing the trombone in a music organization I was a part of while living in Boston. I knew he was also a percussionist, but to see him play the piano…it threw me. He did it up true to a percussionist though…and as more of a jazz pianist. Check him our with his trombone here.
I love the creativity they have in their history of performing together. They are playful, creative, and command a viewer’s attention. She’s adorable. Between the two of them, you cannot help but to find yourself smiling. The only thing holding them back from being black, is the fact that they are white…which they bring light to. Hilarious!
